Karine Nasrallah

Karine Nasrallah is the Chief Compliance Officer at the American University of Beirut (AUB), where she leads the development and implementation of the university’s compliance framework. In this role, she formulates and communicates unified strategies to manage and mitigate risk, ensuring alignment with both US and Lebanese legal and regulatory requirements while supporting AUB’s mission of education, research, and service.

Karine joined AUB in 2015 on secondment from Abousleiman & Partners and has been instrumental in advancing the university’s compliance program since 2018. She oversees the development, review, and monitoring of institutional policies and procedures, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical practice across the university.

She holds a law degree from Université Saint-Joseph and a graduate diploma in management from McGill University, combining legal expertise with strong strategic and organizational insight.
