Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Series

n line with the aims of the chair at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan series seeks to publish research focusing on the study of Islamic religious thought, Quranic studies, Belles-Lettres, Sufism, history, literature, grammar, lexicography, philology, law, art, and other aspects of the Arabic-Islamic civilization.
The two main focuses of research under the series are:
Arabic and Islamic Texts and Studies
Art in the Arab and Islamic Worlds
The Comics & Graphic Narratives from the Arab World series focuses on publishing historical and analytical studies on comics and visual narratives from the region. The aim is to contribute to the growing research within this field centering on and about graphic narratives from the region, by the region.
The series seeks to distill complex academic research and thought-provoking concepts into provocative, accessible, and well written pocket volumes. We are looking to publish works that challenge status quos and introduce readers and the intelligent generalist to ideas and concepts that academics at the university are working on.
