AUB faculty members are invited to submit applications in support of their travel to present their research results on American Studies topics at international conferences.
Eligibility: AUB full-time faculty members
Budget: Up to $2,500 for MENA and Europe; up to $3,000 for elsewhere. Reimbursement of expenses is governed by the
University business travel policy.
Application materials: Apply online (form will open soon). Please upload in PDF: 1. Abstract of presentation (no more than 200 words) including the conference details (name, location, date); 2. Budget narrative (indicating the anticipated use of the requested funds and all funds sought or secured from internal and external sources); 3. Conference acceptance letter from the organizers; and 4. Leave Request and Approval Form signed by the department chair.
Outcomes for CASAR: Grantees should present their research focus/intervention in short segments of no more than 2-3 minutes. These segments will be uploaded on the
CASAR website.
